It has been great to see alumni working with our athletes over the last few weeks! Brian McCarthy and Justin Kuzemka have been showing up and working with out several kids! Brian has been a catalyst to a lot of our success over the past several years. Also, it has been great to see some of the young alumni working out. Thanks to Jake Smith, Brooks Martino, Mickey Bennett and Roman Perryman for being in the room. Marcus Hathaway and George Billy also came in during the season to work with our studs! We truly wouldn't be where we are today with out everyone's support!
Speaking of Alumni support, we are hosting our 2nd annual pig roast this Saturday from 6 PM -11 PM, and we hope to see all of our friends there! The event is at the Town Hall in Clifton, VA. The address is: 12650 Chapel Rd, Clifton, VA. This is a fund raiser for our program, but it isn't limited to only Robinson wrestlers!!!! If you want to come and bring you whole neighborhood, we would love to see all of you there!!!!
The cost of the event is $20, and we will be selling tickets at the door! For that money, we are cooking a 200 lb pig, all beef burgers and hot dogs, and all the sides, fixings and desserts you want. We will also have Lemonade, water and iced tea for that cost.
Also, if you need adult beverages, for an extra $20 you can get a wrist band that will allow you to drink. We have contracted a company to come in with a few taps!
We'll have a 50/50 raffle, door prizes and a few silent auction items as well as a great band who will play periodically through out the night!! The band is made up of current Robinson wrestlers and they are really great!!!!
